    I missed you in the thread by about 10 minutes, here was my question:

    I'm a guy, I got my hair cut and styled to be short and a bit messy, but for the life of me I can't make it work like the stylist did. She used pomade, and then finished off with a bit of hairspray all around. In addition, she sprayed some into her hand and used that to do some details. TIPS? Seriously, I can't make this work at all, I don't get it.
